We are pleased to announce that Ryland Inn’s very own Chief Mixologist, Christopher James, was named one of the finalists in PAMA Pomegranate Liquer’s first-ever “Are you Indisepensible?” national cocktail competition.
Although there was a significant number of submissions, as PAMA recieved over 240 cocktail recipes, James’ recipe shined through, earning him a spot among the top six finalists. James and his competitiors will duel it out in New York City on Wednesday, January 22nd, for the grand prize of $5,000.
When asked about the finalists, brand ambassador for PAMA, Lynn House, claimed “The finalists really took things to the next level. They showed a sophisticated understanding of using PAMA as the indispensable modifier that makes ordinary cocktails extraordinary. We wish them all the best of luck at the finals.” We couldn’t agree more with House’s statements. Hats off to Christopher James and best of luck to all the competitors!
